i dont know. do you retreat or do you acquiesce wholeheartedly as the bullets violate whatever else is left of you?
if you run, the aftermath leaves you feeling a deserter without a single thought of contending.
if you stay, do you capitulate to the circumstances or do you commit and resist? what if it’s a losing battle? what happens after your devastation? how does one cope after such a defeat? will you feel rendered useless? will you stare adversity in its eyes and vow to never again fall under its oppression?
